Marathons Completed: 26

I am 42, a journalist (write at Contra-Relogio Magazine, the most important in Brazil), doing college of physical education, and married and have two kids (Victoria, 12, and Peter, 8). Racing has always been part of my life when practiced other sports such as soccer and tennis. Almost 10 years ago I left the other sports and started to participate in road races. My first marathon was in 2010 and I’ve now completed 26 marathons so far. Los Angeles will be number 27. In the United States I did Disney (twice, one Gooffy Challenge), New York and Boston (5 times in the last five years, 2012-2016). My best times are 2:51:21 in Barcelona-2015 and 2:50:20 in Buenos Aires-2015. I decided to run marathons by teaching that the 26.2 miles gives you, such as planning, dedication, respect, organization, satisfaction, commitment… Already the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon became a dream since I accompanied the victories of Wesley Korir, from Kenya.
